We understand that the process of applying for financial aid may be confusing or stressful for both students and parents, so we are here to help you in any way we can! Stop by the Office of Financial Aid and meet with your student’s assigned counselor to talk through your questions. Appointments are recommended and can be scheduled online.

Celebrate the artistic legacy of honorary alumnus Walter Emerson Baum H’46 by visiting The Baum Legacy: A Centennial Exhibition at The Baum School of Art in Allentown, Pa.

This special collection highlights the renowned Pennsylvania Impressionist's work alongside pieces created by his students and family members. Families visiting during Family and Founder's Weekend are invited to explore the exhibition on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Experience art at your own pace! Celebrate Lehigh University Art Galleries’ 100th birthday by exploring art around campus. In LUAG’s Main Galleries (inside Zoellner Arts Center), view This Land: Reimagining the United States of America on its 250th Anniversary and other works from the museum’s collection of over 20,000 objects. In LUAG’s network galleries, explore VIEWFINDER: Looking at Landscapes. Whether you have ten minutes or two hours, the journey is yours to enjoy.

Network galleries are located in Alumni Memorial Building, Maginnes Hall, Iacocca Hall, Rauch Business Center, and Fairchild-Martindale Library. Digital Archives and Special Collections Librarian Alex Japha will lead a tour of the current Lehigh Libraries Special Collections exhibit, "Unfinished Chapter: The First 250 Years of American Liberty."

In this exhibit, attendees will see documents dating from the Revolutionary War and learn about how liberty and freedom have been celebrated in America since before the nation's founding. Tours are approximately 1 hour.

Tour the newly renovated Clayton University Center at Packer Hall, a transformation that elevates the student experience and reimagines the heart of campus.

As you explore the new spaces where students study, connect, and unwind, feel free to pop into open offices throughout the building. Staff will be available to chat about their departments and the ways they support students throughout their Lehigh journey. Tours depart every 15 minutes from the first floor welcome desk.

Stop by the Executive Education showcase to test your communication skills (harder than it sounds!) and see what our friends from the LETs (Lehigh Emerging Technologies) Lab are bringing to the space and to classrooms on campus, including Quest headsets and other emerging tech. Help mark a special moment in Lehigh’s history as the original Bible dedicated to Packer Memorial Church makes its way from the church to its new home in Lehigh Special Collections. Participants will walk together to Linderman Library, where the Bible will be placed alongside the Packer Family Bible for preservation. A brief gathering will follow on the third floor.

Join us for appetizers at 4:30 p.m., services at 5:45 p.m., and a delicious Shabbat dinner at 6:30 p.m. Come for one or all events, and celebrate Shabbat in our beautiful home. $15 for adults (21+), $5 for children (ages 4–20), and free for children 3 and under. Celebrate game day with a tailgate featuring a delicious buffet, bar, music from a live DJ, lawn games, and interactive entertainment—including a caricaturist, face painter, and henna artist. It's fun for all ages and a great way to build the excitement before kickoff. Register in advance and save $10: $35 for adult/student (21+); $15 for student/child (4–20 years of age); children 3 and under are free.

Swing by for some cuddle time with therapy dogs from both the Lehigh University Police Department’s (LUPD's) Lehigh Labs and the Lehigh Valley Therapy Dogs (LVTD) organization. Both programs aim to provide comfort, connection, and support to the community. LUPD therapy dogs and volunteers from LVTD will be on-site with their friendly pups.

Come join the Gender, Leadership & Empowerment Center to decorate sugar cookies, make some crafts, and learn more about the center's work on campus. This is a family-friendly event perfect for all ages.

Lehigh students, adult family members (18 years and older), and alumni are welcome to visit Taylor Gym and Welch Fitness Center for open gym hours. Please register at the Taylor Gym lobby desk upon entry.

Guests may also tour the Taylor Gym facility, which includes the Roger S. Penske Hall of Fame and Galleries, Welch Fitness Center and Racquet Sports Complex, Jacobs Pool, Lane Challenge Climbing Wall, or Spiegel Family Fitness Series, throughout Family and Founder’s Weekend.

Create a flag that tells your story! Join artist Rebecca Kelly for an all-ages community workshop inspired by the artwork in the exhibition This Land: Reimagining the United States of America on its 250th Anniversary. Learn simple embroidery stitches while designing a small fabric flag that reflects your identity, community, or hopes for the future. No experience necessary—all materials provided.

Rebecca Kelly is a storyteller, visual artist, and curator. Rebecca is a teaching artist at Lehigh University Art Galleries, Young Audiences of NJ and PA, and The Banana Factory in Bethlehem, PA. Rebecca is on the roster of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Ms. Kelly is a gifted visual artist who specializes in Book and Textile Arts. Her work has been exhibited at The Philadelphia Museum of Art Library, Phila, PA, South Haven Arts Center, South Haven, MI, The Studio Exhibit at Evanston Art Center, Evanston, IL, The Phillips Mill Art Association Annual Juried Show, Hunterdon Art Museum Members Show and St. Ann’s Warehouse in Brooklyn.
